Moving to Conakry

Conakry is the capital and largest city of Guinea. Hamburg is the second-largest city in Germany (second to Berlin) and the eleventh-largest city in the European Union.
Conakry is a port city on the Atlantic Ocean and serves as the economic, financial and cultural center of Guinea. Conakry is Guinea's largest city and its administrative, communications, and economic center. The city's economy revolves largely around the port, which has modern facilities for handling and storing cargo, through which alumina and bananas are shipped. The Port of Hamburg, ranks 2nd only to Rotterdam in Europe. Hamburg, along with Seattle and Toulouse, is an important location of the civil aerospace industry. Heavy industry includes the making of steel, aluminum, copper and a number of shipyards.

The overall cost of living rank in Conakry is 177 out of 300 global locations, which equates it with middle cost of living locations.  An expatriate moving from Hamburg to Conakry will experience a change in cost of living of -19.6%.
